منح جامعة عين شمس: عشرة رخص أكاديمية من حزمة برامج Move من شركة بتروليوم اكسبريس المحدودة (Petex)

في إطار تدعيم العملية التعليمية والبحث العلمي بقسم الجيولوجيا بكلية العلوم، جامعة عين شمس، قامت شركة بتروليوم اكسبريس المحدودة (Petex) بمنح قسم الجيولوجيا 10 رخص أكاديمية من حزمة برامج Move بقيمة إجمالية قدرها 1،886،731 جنيه إسترليني.
وتقع شركة بتروليم اكسبريس المحدودة بمدينة ادنبرة بإسكتلندا وهي شركه متخصصة في هندسة البترول والجيولوجيا التركيبية، كما أنها تهدف إلى تطوير نطاق كبير من أدوات البرمجيات، وتضم الشركة فريق على أعلى مستوى من المهنيين من ذوي الخبرة العالية في مجال هندسة البترول والجيولوجيا التركيبية وهندسة البرمجيات.
وبناء على طلب من قسم الجيولوجيا بكلية العلوم، جامعة عين شمس، تم منح هذه الرخص البرمجية من قبل شركه بتروليوم اكسبريس المحدودة (Petex)، وذلك بدون أي نفقات على القسم أو الكلية أو الجامعة.
تشتمل حزمة برامج Move على برامج متخصصة في النمذجة والتحليل التركيبي، كما أنها توفر حلول رقميه متكاملة لتطبيقات النمذجة التركيبية وذلك لتقليل المخاطر المتعلقة بالنماذج التركيبية. كما أن حزمة البرامج تلك توفر المنصة المناسبة لدمج وتفسير البيانات وعمل القطاعات التركيبية والنماذج ثلاثية الابعاد وإعادة البناء التركيبي والتحقق من التفسيرات والنمذجة الجيوميكانيكية ونمذجة الكسور واستجابة الصدوع بالإضافة الى تحليل الصدوع والاجهاد.

جدير بالذكر ان تلك البرامج الممنوحة سوف تستخدم لتدريس عدد من مقررات طلاب مرحلتي مرحلة البكالوريوس والدراسات العليا بالقسم، كما ان تلك البرامج سوف يستفيد منها الباحثين بالقسم والجامعة، وذلك لتنفيذ المشاريع والدراسات البحثية المتعلقة بالتطور التركيبي والتكتوني لأحواض الترسيب بمصر وأماكن اخرى على مستوى العالم بالإضافة الى استخدام تلك البرامج في عمل اعاده بناء تركيبي وتحليل للصدوع.

Petroleum Experts Limited donates ten MOVE suite software licenses to Ain Shams University

To support ongoing research in the Department of Geology، Faculty of Science at Ain Shams University، Petroleum Experts Limited (Petex) has kindly donated 10 MOVE Suit educational licenses to the department، valued at £ 1،886،731.57. 
Petroleum Experts (Petex) is an Edinburgh-based petroleum engineering and structural geology company، developing a wide range of software tools. They are a team of highly skilled professionals with extensive experience in petroleum engineering، structural geology، and engineering software.
This donation was granted based on the request of the Department of Geology، Faculty of Science at Ain Shams University، with no expenses being paid by neither the department، the faculty، nor the university.
The MOVE suite is a structural modelling and analysis software. It provides a full digital environment for best practice structural modelling to reduce risk and uncertainty in geological models. It provides a platform for integrating and interpreting data، cross-section construction، 3D model building، kinematic restoration and validation، geomechanical modelling، fracture modelling، fault response modelling، and fault and stress analysis.

The software will be used in a number of undergraduate and postgraduate courses. Researchers will also benefit from using this software to carry out projects on the structural and tectonic evolution of sedimentary basins in Egypt and other structural settings from all over the world، structural restoration، and fault analysis.
